Tear-drop shaped, self-stabilizing, stainless steel paperweight. 125g exactly. Found at the thrift store for 50 cents.

That is impressive! A stainless steel egg
With the balance the way it is, I wonder what effect that would have during its flight.

I wonder too. Proper pouch placement and release would be critical. I think it would work best at longer distances, giving it some time to stabilize, fly very far with low drag.

Nice! I’d like to find the goose that laid that!

I, without sin, shall cast the first stone. That will be your sign to attack! But you shall not fight this unholy enemy with stones. No! RAZOR GLANDES! Aim for the eyes! Hah, I would personally ask the goose if they can lay in an Osmium, Iridium or Tungsten format.
Failing this, I'll happily have one in lead.

so is it hollow that's why it's only 125g? and the center of mass is further in front compared to a homogenous egg? that's what you mean self stabilising?
P.S. have you thrown it yet?

I think so. It's definitely bottom heavy and stabilizes itself back up when pushed on its side. I have not thrown it yet, haven't had the opportunity. I don't want to lose it, that is for sure.

Just wondering: The tail looks lightweight... would't it wobble a lot? well only one way to know. Oh I wish I'd find some of these! great find, Jauke.

If you want something similar in lead you can try an egg sinker.

I don't know of any lead sinker that is balancing on the nose like jauke's egg above.
