I've been interested in learning how to use a sling ever since I was a little kid, and I'm finally making the effort to learn. Nice to meet everyone!

Welcome from Finland! What type of sling have you started off with?

Actually, "what type of sling should I start out with?" was the question that motivated me to create an account in the first place.  Smiley

Right now I plan to buy one before trying to make my own. I figure I'll start with what Hondero dubbed the "medium" sling length of fingertip-to-shoulder when folded over, and I'm looking at both woven and paracord.

Well this is the right place. I would offer my services but there are so many members within the US it would be a bit silly for me to send one ask the way from Finland (also a lot of them are better sling makers than me...).
