So today it is official.  We closed on the land yesterday.  I now have the deed to my land. I am doing owners financing, which is $110. A month. I found out that I am totally exempt  to pay property taxes. I am eligible for the homestead and military exemptions. Another reason i love this state.  Also since being from NJ, with the worst firearm laws. Up here I can constitutionally carry. So that's been nice.

We got a few now, I will start posting a few everyday.  Still exploring the land. Found some junk not even known to be there. And 2 cars from the 40s, I would like to try to salvage. Wet lands on the property.

Here are a few pics of my land. It was thinned out before I purchased it, but I have access to 200 acres to pull logs and to build my cabin. The state of Maine is a constitutional carry state. Which, means I can carry whenever, where ever.  Which because of the bears and moose, i have to. Moose are very aggressive, due to poor eyesight. My dad gave me a military issue semi automatic 45 cal hand gun. Plus one of my knives I forged myself, I carry everyday.

I imagine it smells amazing there. If that was my land I would go rogue within the first year. By year five I would wear nothing but bear skins and only speak in grunts.

That is my dream, but my gf wouldn't allow it

I have seen a few mushrooms , but I know NOTHING of them. So I won't attempt to try them this year
