I'm all yours , just make sure you ask the question before you perform the task . Unlike engineering tasks trees don't recover from the wrong planning very well. Basically what I'm saying is if there are any trees that your concerned about but want to retain make sure you plan before you build. Not after
Gotcha, I understand. Now what should I be on the look out when I do start? I have done my research, and mostly would like to use dead standing trees if I can. But I need a better look at the trees once I get back up there. The cabin is gonna be simple. Once I down the trees, let dry for a bit. But also had been researching on using green trees ( not letting em dry) as I have seen people going that route abd being successful with it, and then later on compensate the drying later on with chinking material. Then using a scribe for the logs, to fit almost like old school lincoln logs.
