Hey all Mersa here. I've been slinging for about one year now and I'm still using the first sling I made. It's made out of a dyneema cord with a woven pouch, measuring 24 inches from knot to the centre of the cradle. I'm from the west coast of Australia, 30 years old and got into slinging through playing DnD video games such as baldurs gate. Currently throwing an Apache style for close range and either a figure 8 or above head(heli?) style over longer distance.

Thanks everyone happy slinging

Welcome to the site.

As you may have noticed, this is an international site, so any and all pictures of your slinging adventures are welcome.  It's fun to see different parts of the world.

But if you don't want to bother, that's OK, too.   Grin

Can you upload video to youtube please and share the link.
Video files take up a lot of space on out server Smiley

Nice style Thumbs Up
Try making a longer sling - 24 inches is pretty short for anything but close up target shooting.

Not a problem I'll keep it in mind for any future videos. What length would you recommend me sizing up too . Quite happy with my short sling so far and it's definitely improving my distances in comparison to no sling .
