And while we're with Arnold. Conan the Barbarian.
Not the remake with some skinny underwear model. But the original dino de laurentis epic.
It's as true to Robert Ervin Howards original character as could be.

Conan wasn't some hairdoed model, he was a big muscled monster of a man.

Highly agree with Life Of Brian. And that it's superior to the holy grail. It is a beautiful example of what humans do. And, it should be said, not nearly as blasphemous as you would think. It's much more about what we do as followers than it is about a specific religion.

I'd add Shrek 2 though. Not as brilliant as the first- but solid. As far as I'm concerned they never went any further. Sort of like how they've never done a Fantastic 4 film. Because NO-ONE gets to ruin the origin story of Victor Von Doom like that. It never happened.

shrek 2 was rubbish. No ogrey stuff, no caterpillar toothpaste.

And what's wrong with the f4 films ? I rather like them

I'll add the first ironman film and the avengers film. And the other two iron man films.
I'll throw OUT the second captain america film - what was the point ?
And the second thor film was also somewhat pointless.

Pitch Black

One of the finest sf films made in the last 20 years and easily vin diesel's finest hour and a bit.

Aliens who aren't humans wearing masks - finally someone gets the idea of ALIEN

Alien and Aliens, skip the third film and go straight to alien resurrection - excellent film.
And speaking of ron perlman...

And not just for sygourney weaver in her undies whistle

Great aliens - although a tad too human shaped for my liking, but still very good.

Big trouble In Little China.

It's in my top ten if not the top five of best films ever made. Kurt Russel at his prime was unbeatable.
'It's all in the reflexes'.

Animal house
The late great John Belushi at his mental finest.
Not that great a film as it kind of grinds to a halt in places - but a classic of it's genre and some truly memorable scenes.

Not because it was an original film - it was a western in space.

But the 3d effects were mind blowing.
The screen and tablets were full 3d within the 3d of the room. One of the few films I'd urge you to see 3d in a cinema.
