i was wondering if this might remove grab on the release...

hi guys, i have another idea, its about the way a sling releases, well at least a nylon sling, so the idea is that with no cracker on the end of a sling but instead a small somewhat heavy knot might improve accuracy by removing the grab on nylon, I.E when you release, the amount the cord wraps around the ammo causing wasted energy and force behind the ammo in turn losing distance. thoughts?

You haven't had your sling wrap around your body and the knot hit you right on your nipple yet, have you? Grin

Seriously, what you are describing is a toggle or button release.  Jaegoor has made several, they work to do exactly  what you want, that is, pull the release cord away from the pocket.
