Lol. When I try that, God almost always answers my prayer. But the answer is usually "No."

I like how three good slingers in a row are all acting like they couldn’t hit a barn from the inside.

I got news for you gents, your videos have betrayed you!  Grin

I wrote three replies to this already each slightly more dirty than the one before. Finally I just erased them all and I am leaving this as a safety against coming back to post them some day when I am less than sober.

It's good to know that I am not the only one who does this....writes something and then reconsiders multiple times.

I still have an unopened packet of balloons on the kitchen table. I spent an age remembering to buy them and now I have them still haven't made Rusty Balls of my own. I picked up one of Jaegoor's at the International and, like an idiot, gave it back to him rather than nick it Cheesy I need to go steal some sand from the local beach... I MEAN... Go to the local beach to have a fun time and not steal sand...

It's been hitting 30C over here recently. This is the thing, Finland has much colder winters than the UK but it also seems to have better quality summers.

You could also just fill it up with dried ground no?
dry the ground, filter it through a sieve and fill your balloons with it through a funnel.
Finland cant all be bedrock

That could work as well. It's been raining so much I haven't made any yet. I've been thinking of getting a small scale as well. Getting them consistent will be the important thing.

consistent weight is easy.

Either weigh the sand.
or weigh the sand and then add water to the first balloon to increase weight before you add the wrapping balloons. That way you can adjust the weight but keep the same size rusty ball (I just love that phrase - is that wrong ? ).
