Ok, Caldou au rapport !

I can see the linked pictures when I'm not logged in. I can't when logged in.

The Guide section seems to have disappeared, I guess the project is not dropped ?

I can't quote a post from a thread. But I can quote it when I'm in the "see the last ... posts" page from the bottom of the index page.
And what "Mark and quote" is meant to do ?

I'll stick this here as well.

if you can't see pictures and avatars.
go to your control panel (user cp)
Click Profile.

Then select Options.

confirm your password.

scroll down to the bottom where it says:
'which template would you like to use. '

And select: Old Yabb 2.1 style - modded.

And that should sort it.

I know this loses the custom menu at the top of the page - but I'm working on that.
Hopefully it's just acut and paste html job.

we'll see Grin

slowly but surely - we're getting there.

As I've never used it - can't say. But definitely rings a bell as something I've seen on the yabb forums. Not sure there's anything I can do about it though

I know it was mentioned some time ago, but I was just wondering if the Slinger's Guide and Market Place sections of the forum are still available to anyone, because I haven't been able to see them since the update. If they are still there, does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to access them?

I have the same settings as you described but it does not work for me.
If I try the direct links (

sounds like you need to logout and log back in again.

Weird system. if your home router has changed ip address, you need to re-login.

Some things will work, like you can post a new message. But a lot of stuff won't work, like you can't edit the message you just posted. Weird, but that's how it works.
You just need to check the tool bar right at the top of the forum to see if you need to logout and in again.

And hey, good to see a ubuntu user squirrel Thumbs Up

Thanks for the ideas.

I've already had my settings on the old yabb 2.1 style modded for some time now, but can't see those sections. I tried the links in Teg's post and get the same result as he did, and logging out and in doesn't seem to change anything. Perhaps it's some issue on my computer. Anyway, let me know if anyone finds out what the problem is.
