Hallo friends! I just thought to share with you today's experience. It rained heavily last night, this morning and until lunch. Shortly after, a strong sun come out, but the sky was still almost full of heavy grey clouds. I decided to go to the beach for some slinging, took my sling and my knife in its new scabbard and went there. There was a strong wind, which raised spray of salt water and gentle waves; I was alone in the bay. I saw a black plastic buoy that storms had run aground, and just behind of it there was a metal pole with a signal on it that the wind uprooted and dropped. I begun slinging at the buoy: a relaxed helicopter style. Then after a while: one, two, three, four, five hits... and more surprisingly, the rocks that didn't hit fell very close to it. Some stones flew over it, hitting the signal. I was at 19 paces from the buoy, 24 from the signal. I gave up slinging when I felt I was becoming too anxious and willing to hit. Something that always lead me to bad results in archery. But I'm really happy now. This was a wonderful day: me, my weapons, my bay. I couldn't ask for more! Greetings, Mauro.
