The shot of the hail of slung rocks hitting the armoured car is quite remarkable; those kids have some spuds to do that given how trigger-happy the IDF are reported to be. Not sure i'd want to go and grab a can of tear gas that's belching out, though!

Having been tear gassed by the IDF I can tell you its not pleasent. Ive seen kids in the West Bank slinging and they have some guts. Any of the slings I saw them use were quite rough and ready. The next time I travel to Palestine im going to try and talk to people about slings

Good vid, shows the day to day realities of life under illegal occupation in one of the few places in the world the sling is used in conflict.

Tear gas ain't that bad, I remember begging one of my instructors to let me go play kick the can with the one I threw at my swat team, they were wearing gas masks, I was not, he sarcastically said yes, when I actually ran down range and started playing with them (i was a student in the academy, the swat team worked for the agency that was putting me through the academy) the commander made all of the swat team remove their gas masks. . . I was not their favorite person after that

Lol, maybe its like really hot chilli, some people think its painful whereas others just love it!

I think IDF teargas is stronger than most types because its banned in most of the world except they still use it. Its made in Maryland as far as I know, not sure if its used in the U.S. You definitely wont be able to sling properly covered in a cloud of it!

The tactical will blind you, cause you to rupture organs while puking, and best of all, it is considered non lethal.
