Problem with threads getting marked read
Jun 5th, 2012 at 4:59am

Hey, I've been having this problem lately with threads I haven't viewed getting marked read. Usually ones next to one I just read. It's a little annoying since sometimes I can't remember which threads I've read or not.

I'm not sure if it's the forum (unlikely), or my browser. I'm running latest Google Chrome and Windows Vista. I think it might be because an extension of mine loads the next page so that I have an easier time navigating, however I've had this for a while before the issue came up.

Any trouble shooting help would be great.

Lol CA,I'll agree that Vista is bad, but don't you dare say any thing about Google Chrome Wink And I'm not a big fan of using FireFox, just doesn't work as smoothly as chrome in my opinion.

Either way I'll download it when I get home and see if there's a difference.

lol it's google - it's got a nasty agenda.

I believe it's what the native browser is on my android tablet.

I've yet to find a good browser that does everything (dolphin is the best compromise) - but so far every single alternative is faster than the native browser.

Native browser is horrible- the ICS one is marginally usable. I like dolphin because everything loads right- with other browsers certain pages, type of files, etc don't load correctly. Dolphin is as close to a real desktop browser as I've ever gotten. Opera Mobile has a nice UI, and Maxthon isn't too bad.

^Very off topic...should I move my own post to the OT forum?

That's wrong. Just to say, because I don't have any tablet or advanced phone and I don't have read threads issues Cheesy

I just look at the threads I'm interested in Smiley
