Most Deadly Bad Guys II
Apr 2nd, 2012 at 6:47pm

Due to me missing some very obvious (and not so obvious) choices here is part two. Due to the fact that there are an almost infinite amount of bad guys in an almost infinite amount of books and movies I am really trying to steer clear of the "Other" category as much as possible. The more people put down their own (sometimes very obscure) choices which no one else has ever heard of, the less meaning the poll actually has. So no "Other" on this poll, though if you feel like a really obvious and/or cool one is missing by all means throw it out there.

Of those it has to go to predators, as they are more than a match for the Aliens.  How about the aliens from Mars Attacks?  Those are some pretty bad dudes.  Not the most powerful though, but still bad are the Critters.
I'm not sure how a t1000 or a terminator would do against an Alien or a Predator...it would be interesting.  Sith being jedis though they could probably take on all of these, but I'm not sure.

Alien. All the other ones are fairly singular and can be defeated. The aliens would require the destruction of an entire race. A well placed bullet won't do it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who recognizes the very serious and very real danger posed by talking pigs.

I am used to seeing talking pigs all the time on CSPAN or libreal news channels so I am not really that intimidated,  Wink

T 1000 are pretty dang hard to kill and pretty evil. But they can also probably be reprogramed to be really BA good guys.

I think Predators take the cake on psocological warefare though.

I am intimidated by talking pigs ever since I read Orwell's "Animal Farm" when I was a kid.
Great book indeed, and a very skilled author in my opinion.
Greetings,
Mauro.

Well Predator beats Alien simply because they hunt them for sport, as an initiation for their warriors and such, a predator is worth at least a seasoned few aliens...wow do I sound nerdy...

AGREED !! I read it in my teens and it still reverberates through me when i look at politiacians, espescially South African ones. They remind me of theses big fat ticks. Ready to be plucked off the skin and sqaushed under the heal of my boot.

Damn I hate aliens, they never stop. I'd rather be killed by a Predator than an alien.

I'm going with Morgan LeFay. Again, my metric is whether or not they actually succeed at the end of the day. LeFay was largely dedicated to seeing King Arthur dead, and ending his legacy. How do the Arthurian Myths end? Arthur ends up impaled on a spear, his sword, the symbol of his legacy gets lobbed into a lake, and his lands fragment due to not having an heir. She also wanted to deal with Merlin, depending on the myth he's dead or trapped. Again, she succeeds, where the rest of these things fail.

Plus, LeFay presupposes that her enemies likely only have medieval technology. With most of the rest of the list, it's reasonable to have modern or futuristic technology. The Terminator stops being so impressive when killing it with a missile from a robot becomes a viable option, and when it comes to Aliens, they have no technology to speak of. Ending their entire biosphere isn't actually going to be all that difficult, given the sort of energy one can attain with a good nearby gravity well (read: star).
