Cold steel blow guns are really good i shoot fish with mine it works pretty well on them

I use a dart that has a broad head made out of a peice of credit card and is about 14 inchs long i tie 8lbs fishing line to the dart and suck it back up into the blow gun i have a 202 reel zip tied to the end i then put bread in the water and when they come up to eat the bread i shoot them and reel them in work good

i made some like that also works good

I have one of the .65 cal ColdSteel blowguns (4').  It is amazing how much penetration you can get with the mini-broadheads even into solid wood.

Interesting idea. I use both eyes to aim. If you are focusing on the target, you'll see two images of the pipe, one for each eye. Just put the target on the centerline between the two and practice estimating the proper elevation. Others out there have set up various sights, some even mount scopes or red-dot sights on theirs, but I've never seen anyone try a curved mouthpiece. The only sight I ever really liked was a large office clip on the barrel, but even that did not improve my accuracy. I like just the bare pipe, but might be tempted to add something that glows for low light shooting. Targetzonesports.com sells a laser sight for blowguns, which is another thing I'd like to try.

That's an awfully long dart.  Why'd you make it so long?

That makes sense.  You need a substantial projectile weight to penetrate so much water.  Most of the blowdarts I've shot have been on the order of about 8 inches or less.
