Well, they are my favorite knives. I really like the scandi grinds, easy to keep sharp, and I find that the mora´s I own keep their edge incredibly long, especially in the light of the abuse I submit them to...
Ehm, you threw one away, on purpose...?

Looked up the thread, it was xxxkid123 that needed the three stitches. So the mystery remains, why does someone throw away a fine knife...?

For the price moras are great knives I have the mora 46G (I think) with an oversized green handle, I used it to field dress my first deer and help make my first succeful bow, great knives.

That mora knife is good, that edge grind makes it great for slicing.  I tend to prefer standard blades, though, as I  often do some detailed stuff with the tip, like splinter removal.
In fact I tend to get a lot of splinters Smiley

Many people throw away old mora knives when they become dull as they consider them junk due to their low price.  It`s just the chosen few who know they are worth resharpening.

that was me Smiley

i carve with a mora SL-2. cut down 3/4 of an inch down. didn't feel it at all till an hour later (might just be the stitches though) it was definitely one sharp knife.
