Glad to be a Boise State Fan! I'm building my first Trebuchet with my boys and think it will be a great father son project. My boys are 13, 12, 10, and 8. Any tips for a first timer? Thanks!

make a few slings- maybe 60 inches end to end for one, and for your kids maybe 48 inches end to end (slings are generally measured folded in half, but sometimes it gets confusing).

start with tennis balls, a missfired rock is enough to kill sometimes, and starters have little control over release.

once you get the hang of it it's a real blast.

There's no break, there's no end, just a-living on;&&Wide awake, with a smile, going on and on.
