THose looks so cool Cheesy I cut some bark off a willow tree and just have been two lazy to stich it up Undecided

iin spring and early summer you can peel the bark off the trees real easy. just score it with a knife and pop it off. then let it dry for a week and glue in the plug  Wink

  Oh cool, so you don't need a form or anything?  It will always curl up good like that?  So how big is the piece of bark you are using? and can you cut the bark any time of year, like now? or do you have to take it when the sap is running?

itll curl up more or less like that. if you want a more round tube shape then you can use a form

that piece was 22" by 11" im not sure about other bark, but for poplar its really hard to get it off in one piece after spring/early summer
