As much as I'd like to take the credit for the Mini-slingfest 2010, it's slingingrat's baby.  It was his idea and he's setting it up.  I'm just a (hopefully) participant.  I think it's a great idea.

I gave away two more slings tonight.  First, just before dusk I ran into Cody.  He's eight or so.  He finagled my only Aussie pouch, that kid had sent, from me.  I'm a sucker for kids.  Later I gave a tape pouch sling to his brother, Austin, as Kali and I were returning from the same walk.  It seemed impossible that it was my last tape pouch also.  I used to have a gaggle of them laying around here.  At least they're easy to make.  Six months or so ago no one in this neighborhood knew what a sling was.  Now it seems they're all into it.  I also got a couple of adult neighbors into it.

Gave away 2 slings today. A 20" knit mason line sling and a PJ sling with gutted climbing line for the weft. Both of them were so well like that I got 2 separate man-hugs. Shocked

Massi - WTF? It's called a sling. You use it to throw rocks farther and faster than you could otherwise. That's all.

Did you give any instruction on how to use the slings or did these manhuggers already have an idea on what to do? Good work.

They had already slung with me, but I thought that they shouldn't have to borrow slings that were too short or long for them so I made ones based on their height.
