nah pretty much all spam, malware etc these days has a commercial basis.
which unfortunately means that it attracts full on professional programmers, so these things are getting more sophisticated all the time.

what do mods do to get rid of spam.
well we delete the posts/threads/spammers  in question. ask around the yabb forums to try and find better ways of stopping them sign up to the forum in the first place.
and see how we can modify the forum setup to reduce spamming incidents in the first place.
