The time it would take to process the clay to consistant enough quality for the kiln, I've spent way more than twelve bucks. The quality of the shot I get with commercial clay is superb and worth every dime.

Besides, I do not even have a kiln!!!

Sling Economics 101:

Time, Quality, Cost...

Making good sling ammo is always a balance between these three things. As cost goes up, quality goes up and time goes down. If you want better quality, you either need more time or more cost. If you want low cost, well, your quality of ammunition will reflect the amount of time you put into it.

I was pretty good at slinging like 10 years ago.
