right just booked my flights for september. which is only a month and a bit away.
And as slingfest 07 is pretty much the only such event to have occured outside of spain in living memory - I figured it'd make sense to have it on the dvd. Rather than have to release version 1 and then update it after september. I figure if I get it right first time it'll be better.

what does anyone think ?

They can bring their targets and scoring systems with them so long as they don't try to regulate what constitutes a "legal" sling, a "legal" stone and a "legal" slinging technique.

Sorry I just voted "yes", including Slingfest footage is a good idea. When what I meant was "no", I don't mind waiting that little bit longer. There's no undo button is there? Embarrassed

That's a yes as far as the targets and distance are concerned... but I am not going to sew, braid, weave, crochet or knit an all natural sling-a-ling between now and then... Angry

Hi George and C-A,

Actually I'm not really belligerent as you know, and as to who does or does not come onto your land is hardly my call. I understand that the Ballearics are preserving their culture not just slinging generally. It's just that their rules are too restrictive and would certainly exclude both yourself and myself based on both equipment and style. Really it would be kind of nice if they sent an official representative. I unfortunately, am not in a position to attend but wish you all the best.

Yeh... your not coming to this is kinda like my wife's losses... I just try to not think about that... We did really enjoy slinging with you in Aussie-land though and it makes the sadness of not having you here with the others a little more bearable. You are a valuable asset to the slinging sport... you'll just have to make it to the next one. Cool

Once in a while someone talks about hosting but no word after that... who's got 2008????????

I'll ship the targets so you won't have to re-do those. I still want to do a close range gallon milk bottle filled with water shoot... hit one with a steel ball the other day and was it ever spectacular (of course gasoline with a lighted candle behind is good too)... Grin
