
this i think is the thinnest sling ive made, except for maybe a hemp one but i traded it so dont have it to measure.
the cotton version is a scant 4mm thick but this wool one is even smaller at 3mm. previous jute verisons were 5-6mm. in comparison my standard 3 strand flat braids are 8-12mm. my first slings before i knew what i was doing were 20mm wide.. what a waste of cordage.

i tried to get a video of shooting a waterbottle but didnt get any good hits yet. but this one here grazed the top.

was using smaller rocks hoping theyd penetrate better and hit the archery target by mistake.
i use several layers of 1/2" hard insulation foam, ive hit it many times before but this was the first time had a rock stick into it.
