Mind if I hop on the question train and ask what they're made of? Aside from oil? 😆
Also, you say "11 or 22," does that mean after you joined the fingerloop you switched to a 22 strand braid instead of matching the strands and continuing with an 11 strand? 'Cause I've thought about doing that, but doing a standard braid with an even number of strands means one side is gonna be thicker than the other 'cause it goes over an extra strand.

The first two are hemp and the one on the right is flax.
The loop is 11 strand braid, but where the cord begins, the yarns are lined up and each pass is two rather than one. So it’s like 11 strands, but passing two at a time.

Here's a picture of the SITH sling I made for Eino. It is a partially skeletonized modified pj or Five Strand Sheep Shank. It is 100% Jute.
