I don't have a great filming setup, but hopefully these aren't too terrible.
If you have any pointers, things to improve, or advice, I'd really appreciate it! I seem to've hit a plateau, and can't get the tennis balls to go any farther (I don't have a real number, but the park behind my apartment has a soccer field I throw goal-to-goal).

One thing I notice; you seem to step in áfter you throw. If you step in during your throw, you can use the power of your mass/legs to put more energy in the sling.
BTW, your filming is fine!

I think I go back and forth on this, but it hasn't been conscious. It's more obvious when I use my left hand 'cause it *feels* like I'm rotating my body for power, rather than...snapping(?) the sling forward.
Thank you! Those were my first videos I put on YT. I had my sister do the filming. She's good at stuff like that.

Greetings ! I'm a new fellow in this wide world of slings !
I began slinging in 2020 and crafted a handful of them in the last years, mostly inspired by the Baleraric style.
Here is one picture of my well-esteemed spot for slinging, in front of the Saint-Lawrence River (Canada).
I first captured this photo because I was suprised by how far the rock was to me before release. In the end, the perspective is nice !

Yes, it is cheap chinesium paracord. about 100m for €10,-.
I don't understand your question about the braids, what do you want to know?

Is it difficult to make braids with paracord ? I'm looking for alternatives to the cheap sisal I find in stores.

No it isn't difficult to braid. There is an entire hobby focused on braiding paracord, so, no, nothing hard about it.
You might want to use different thicknesses if you are into that, but I use "standard" 550 cordage.

Made 4 identical heavy duty spliced dyneema slings. I'll keep one for myself and the other ones will be gifts for people that walk up to me while I'm slinging showing interest and potential to become addicted slingers themselves

I like the look of these.
Please will you do a tutorial so mere mortals can copy ?

My outlook on life is Aristotalean; on seeing an Acorn I see a potential oak tree rather than Plato's view that it is a failed copy.

Did an experiment with using one of those disposable face masks as a pouch, in a similar fashion to the seatbelt sling design. The face mask straps wrap around the ends of the mask to hold the cord in place.
It worked quite well! I call it the surgical seatbelt sling. All you need is 2 pieces of rope and a mask!
