that looks fantastic Eino!  love the colors  Smiley how does it shoot; and how long is it?

Thanks! Smiley I haven't had the chance to throw with it, but it feels pretty good. It's somewhere around 32" long when folded.

Nice emergency sling storage! I haven't put mine in the car, but I always have a small sling in my pocket. Smiley

Once, Toivo and Eino were building a house, but as Toivo worked, he would occasionally throw a nail over his shoulder. When Eino asked why he was being so wasteful, he said, “The heads are on the wrong side!” Eino looked at him and said, “You dummy, those are for the other side of the house!”

I finished my first peruvian sling! I ended up making it pretty plain, though, as I haven't figured out the diamond patterned braid yet. Instead, I did an 8-strand square braid. My next one will probably be done with a zigzag fistbraid like in Teg's tutorial. (https://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1687685411)

The material is cotton yarn, and I have to say that there is nothing like buying deadly weapons from the arts and crafts section. Cheesy

Looks amazing. I still have yet to make one with a complex pattern in the cords.

I’m finial happy with my single finger loop sling design. The only knot is at the release cord. The finger loop is woven in before the 4strand braid begins, it is woven from leather for comfort. At the pouch I have added 4 more strands, 2 green strands that get woven into the pouch the other 2 red strands run 1 on each side of the splits of the pouch and back into the release cord. This adds my extra weight in the pouch area and can b adjusted to tune the sling. All 4 extra strands get tapered out as I braid down the release cord. U can see the strands poking out awaiting to b trimmed and melted. Can’t wait to throw it tomorrow!!!

@Mersa - Your slings are absolutely sleek man.  How does that one compare to the dyneema corded ones you sent out?

@Blindsquirrel - Looks awesome man!  Definitely let us know how you think it compares to the double finger loop.

I haven’t actually put them over the chronograph together but the dyneema (2mm) is faster but with more twitchy handling and the Kevlar has a slightly better grip and handling and approximately a 2m/s loss in speed. Very similar but some subtle differences. Dyneema is much better in the wet . Kevlar is problematic with moisture changes. I’ll probably have both in Ibiza
