Or you can use scissors or a lighter to take care of the hairiness.

It is 16 strand braid with jute and cotton, it is 150cm end to end, pouch is saddle stitched leather 11x6cm. And I made a matching quick release belt loop to 'accesorise!' For a reference point, the stone in the photo is 185g.

I got the leather from Joe Meadmaker and cord is jute. First time I've formed the loop and whipped it to secure it so both sides could be started looped through the pouch.
