Very nice. The end seems very similar to what Jaegoor makes

Cheers, it's heavily inspired by Jaegoor's work. (It's a fantastic combination of material and design elements)

It is a real privilege getting such a compliment from you! Your work is a gold standard.
I used a 4/9.6nm yarn, which is ~1200m per 500g roll.
The braid is 7 strands, with each strand made up of 4 threads (for the finger loop).
The release is very good.
I'm also working on a longer, lighter model.

Wieviel wiegt sie?
Sie ist handwerklich super. Eine Schönheit. Da geht einiges an Material rein.

I don't have any good scales with me, but it seems to weigh around ~45g. It isn't very thick.

Archaic Arms, can you tell me more about the transition here at the release end, how is it made?  Is the main cord looped back around into itself and stitched?  This transition looks seamless and I don't understand how it is done.

The cord is a 4-strand braid, and I half the thickness to accommodate the yarns that wrap backwards after forming the loop (this makes it seamless).
To make the loop, I wax the yarns at the loose end of the braid and put them around a rod. This makes it hold it's shape while it's being whipped with string, which is then done to keep it all together.

Wenn man die Schnüre vorher noch mit Wachs bestreicht, kleben sie zusammen. Man kann sie so leichter vernähen. Roll Eyes
