Started in mid-January; finished at the end of March. 2.5 months for one sling! That was a marathon.
This is a copy of Jaegoor’s 24-strand fishtail design, but not quite an exact copy. I will try it out soon.

Thanks! Yes. It is made from cotton.

After these photos, I treated the sling with a waterproofing agent. Once it cures and I have a chance to test it out, I will do a post about the process.

@czechslinger: be warned! Once you start, there’s no going back. I spent months telling myself that I was wasting my time on this one silly sling, because I could make a perfectly functional sling in under an hour... I sometimes didn’t touch it for a week because I was discouraged by how slow progress was. Now that it’s finished, I have completely forgotten about the hours of mind-numbing boredom, and I just want to make another one!
