If that's simple then what are my slings?

That’s a pretty small target there Willem. How far away are you throwing from?
The distance is 10m. I have gotten confident enough to throw tennis balls in my backyard but I just don't seem to be hitting the tin.

Willem, I'd say you're doing fine. I've been practicing every day about 100-200 throws since April. (and slinging overall for about 13 years now.)
I went out today from 10 - 15 m and tried to hit a soda can... After about 100 throws I hit it only 3 times. I guess I'm trying to say is that you'll get there, but even when you do, the hits can still be few and far between. Of course, then other days you might hit it 10 times in 30 throws.
It seems to vary quite drastically in my experience. Or maybe I just don't practice correctly. Either way, I like your backstop! Seems to work nicely!

When I started to use sling I tried to hit from 200 meters into a tin can hanging on a stick, it was madness

That depends on how many tin cans and how close together they are packed on those sticks

You won't reach 200 meters with this sling, but it will throw fist sized (crap) rocks at scary speed. If I lived in a rocky environment without good river pebbles this is the type of sling I would pick.

Here is another one I have from leather, this one does not have the belt holes still in there. I feel like the minimum rock weight for this sling to work is around 200 grams but preferably you want between 250-500 grams. I can throw a ~500g rock approximately 45 meters with it as some might have seen in a privat video in the past.

No, but from a distance of 100 meters, from a hill, my stones landed 5 meters from an iron disk on a tree, I did not hit it either. It is necessary to make round identical ammo from clay to achieve maximum accuracy and try again. Smelting metal is harmful to health. Especially lead.

Another all leather sling, I used this one the most of the leather slings I have. This one is more trimmed down and fit for ~100g projectiles

Nice! Makes me want to take out the all leather sling made by Tomas but I also don't want to ruin it in the crummy wet weather we have currently.
