Welcome Tejo
Good slings you have there. I find my traditional primitive slings a little harder to use than my 'simple', easily assembled, synthetic cord slings
When I use my primitive slings that have each a few hours of labour into them, and I discover they don't sling as good as my paracord slings, I previously got discouraged to make traditional slings, thinking the added complexity wasn't worth it if it wasn't gonna sling better than the 5 minute paracord slings.
While these synethetic cord slings are easy for us to assemble and they sling really well, the truth is that even the most complex traditional slings made by hand are still more ''simple'' than the simplest of synthetic slings, being that synthetics requires oil being pumped up from deep inside the earth to be created and complex braiding machinery, and all the machinery for that, while the skillfully crafted ''traditional slings'' only require plant fibre and a pair of hands (and maybe some small weaving tools)
on't know why I rambling on I just felt like sharing these thoughts.
