So far in the quest for the best sling for me 'mysling' which I do call Pikaru has been leading for a while. The only thing I've changed lately is using a wrist anchor instead of a finger loop which has helped a lot with how I throw. I have also gone back to folding my relase cord instead of using a release knot but my question to you is why do you have a double loop finger anchor system?

Normally I use a single loop that´s big enough for two fingers. That works best for me when slinging. Here I made a sling that has an additional loop in the retention cord. When using this as a finger loop I have a shorter sling. The problem is the hanging down retention cord part with the long-sling finger loop that tends to tangle into the “active cords” and causes release problems. So I figured out this grip method that prevents the tangling problem.

Here are some pics of my new improved Balearic sling. this one is made of 24 strands of sisal. leather in the belly and on the finger loop. It tapers down to 6 strands on the release cord. The sling has been treated with a coating of beeswax and mineral oil. haven't broken it in yet. I will post some pics slinging with it soon.

Cords are 4 strand braided flax, the pouch weft and whippings are pure wool.

They have different skills, use different stones, but i think 200m is not uncommon.
