Alright I finally "perfected" my multi-finger loop! I had a previous version but this is better Smiley I made it to go on two fingers but it can be made bigger to fit more. Also. As to the pattern in black its just a four strand round braid around a core with some spacing in between the strands. It reminds me of coach whipping and on further investigation I found out coach whipping is similar but you use a six strand round braid! I made it for my kid neighbor and is child sized

I like it! How does it work compared to one finger?

Great sling too.

Lugh-
I prefer it to just a single finger loop. I find it more stable and it lessens the tension from the sling snapping out Smiley I kind of was trying for loop that incorporated all your fingers like the Manchega style slings. One would just make a bigger loop for more fingers.

Thought I'd upload my slings so far, with tennis ball for size reference, beginning with my first functional sling;

Un-prepared sisal twine (with inverted fleece retention loopcovering sewn on):
...

"Craft" cotton (used this one for a few weeks and featured in my two previously posted videos):
...

Acrylic 8 Strand "round braid" (Made this one about a month ago, been very happy with it's performance):
...

Acrylic Balearic style (Literally just finished, as yet untested):
...

Little addendum to that post: This is an image from a book called: "Textile and weaving structures" by Peter Collingwood (1987). This is a very interesting book full of pictures of different textile pieces (no other slings but hats, bags, shoes,...). Not that much explanations are given but it is a very good source of inspiration if you are into braiding, weaving and knoting.
