Here is a new sling I just got from Cuzco, Peru. This was purchased by a band mate who visited Peru in March. A few weeks before he left I explained to him what a sling is (and showed him one I have from Bolivia) and asked him to buy me one if he had an opportunity.

He found a seller in a market that had some cheap slings for about $4. He asked her if she had anything better and she presented this sling for $8.

The main retention cord was started at the pouch and is a 16 strand braid. The release cord (and split pouch warp) is a 6 strand braid. The length is 32" to the end of the retention cord. It is quite a bit heavier, and larger, than my regular paracord sling.

So far I have not launched the sling while throwing.

Made of 1/8 inch(?) hemp cord.

Hi guys ,this is my lab Harry with some of the slings Ive made.They are made from 8ply Acrylic and are very much based on Rockman Sling By Bruno Tosso.I make them to sell to other dog owners for ball slinging which they love, as when they have done playing they just fold it up and put in there pocket,so im slowly spreading the word on how much fun you can have with a sling Cheesy
