I have just give it 2 shots, but I guess it works as well as my first wool sling, that is; surprisingly well.

Walter, it is actually dark brown, but yes, it is two green and one brown. I focused deeply on this pouch, to make the two halves perfectly even in length and firmness. My first wool pouch( 2 dark brown, 1 dark green) was in fact slightly sub-standard.

It has a smaller (4.75") pouch; 28" pouch ctr to release knot and tapered hemp core. Love these slings. Good weight. No stretch. Real comfortable. walter

I'm sure you could Et Cetera! I'm not a fast braider. Could easily braid up a yarn sling in a day. Yarn over a core takes me about two days! That is about a half day and several hours for a few more days after work. But then, I'm not in a hurry (beginning to learn patience) and will spend an hour or more just reverse wrapping the four pieces of whipping. It's fun to work all that string and yarn into a colorful weapon!!!

Well, no, but if you are in need of a sling right now, most of us could just pick one. I would guess that most slingers have at least twenty to choose from. Mine are sorted by type, material and length!

Some of you may recall me asking about hemp. My friend got me some rolls. This stuff is great!!! Extremly tough, yet not abrasive. By far the best natural cordage I've used.
