Here is a picture of some of my braided slings. In the middle is my first braided sling, an apache type, then follows my first made from 6 strings . A split pouch, I have used it a lot, it is wery good, slightly worn, hate golf balls, and I just found that longish stone and gave it a good workout.

The two slings on the outside is a long and a short one, made after inspiration by balearic-slinger. They both works nicely, the short one is wery ``agile``, the long one I must use underhand, but it has given me my longest throws so far, perhaps almost 60 meters Undecided

Nakki, I saw a mini-petanque set like that. It didn`t cost much, but the shop had just one left, and 3 of the balls was stolen out of it Sad

So heres a picture of my friend slinging. I'm behind the camera. I have more pictures but I'm not so sure how you can add more than one picture on your message.
We slinged in a field that was more than 400 meters long. The longsest throw flyed over 120 meters. We didn't lose any of those mini-pétanque balls when we slinged. It was so dry that you could see a little dusk "mushroom cloud" every time when the ball hit ground.
I also have a braided sling with a split leather pouch but I haven't got any picture of it and I'm now too lazy to take one.
