Back from a leave of absence

I'm thinking of moving this to the introduction section. Let me know if I should

Hello all!

I have come back to the forum after leaving due to personal goals, and the prospect of learning to sail. I now teach sailing when I have the time on the San Francisco Bay, and have reached a few of my goals.

I had forgotten what moments of reprieve meant to me, and how important and necessary  they are. Time has now been better managed so that I can at least post a thought or too, and keep company with you fine folks.

I can't say I have done much slinging, but it has not been far from my thoughts. My rope lore has increased a great deal since last I posted, and I hope that it might prove to be some help with getting me get back into the slinging swing of things. Roll Eyes

Great to see the forum still alive kicking. Grin

I moved it for you, I had been wondering about it too.

Welcome back Unsapien
Does sailing go on round the year on the Frisco Bay? Round here (Netherlands) they mostly stop in October not to start again till April.

Do you sling aboard? You should have a wide area to practice distance shots!

Sailing takes place, but the General Public often refrain.

Great to hear from you! Thanks for moving my post!

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
