Excellent idea. I'm not sure of this aluminum rod which you speak (surprising, because I browse through those sorts of stores fairly frequently -what's it used for/what department?).

I don't own any, but I have shot darts made out of aluminum arrows - I went from mediocre- to smokin' aces *ahem*, piercing Aces instantly. They were two aluminum arrows scarfed by a short section of larger arrow and could be broken down. One of the sections was fletched with normal synthetic arrow fletching. I like stiffer darts generally, and these were perfect for me. Very cool, and I'll make some if I'm going into a competition, but for personal use, I'm sticking with trad.

How much does this tubing cost?
