I started writing a how to on puruvian slings on paper and just finished. I planed for 14 pictures that I will get when I make my next sling. Would 14 pictures be ok or would I have to narrow it down?

I am amazed that you can do it with as little as 14 pictures.
Use them, and more if needed.

That's an impressive piece of craftsmanship!
How far do you think it can send ammo?

Bjärn,
I can easily through mediom wieght stones nearly 70 yards with it. It is hard to tell distance because I cant see the stones land, I only hear them.

I started another puruvian sling last night and I am already a couple inches into the round braid. I am taking pictures this time.

No!!! put it on the wiki I have made a place for you. And you can up load the stuff there as well.

Instructions for uploading pictures:

On the left hand side in the side menu called Tool Box

There is a link called upload file

Use that to up load the pictures.

Then as for the article you can do one of two things.  IM me the detail and where the pictures are to go (Plus name of pictures) and I'll do it for you or you could do it yourself on the wiki.

It's on this page:

http://www.slinging.org/wiki/index.php?title=Methods_of_making_Slings_%28Modern_...

If there isn't enough room I can even give you, your own page.

It is almost finished. I hope you all like it so far. I just have to finish braiding the release cord to get a couple more pictures and then I can finish the build along.

Amras,

That is brilliant, not only is it well done but you figured out how to use the Wiki!!!!

Congratualtions on both counts. Keep up the good work.

I finished my second one and got all the pictures I need so I will probably finish the how-to tomarow.

I found the the long weaves on either side of the pouch hinder the flight of the rock. I think the rocks ride on them when I release but I am not sure. I did not put them on my newest sling.
I love these slings Grin
I hope I get to see more home made peruvean slings in the near future.
