wow. this thread is making me feel quite useless. i can carve, but not really. i can do some nice pyrorgraphy, good for gifts, but i don't think anyone would want to buy them. My first bow was pretty much a success.... I think that I could make a really nice one for someone interested in trying out archery, but by shipping costs alone it would probably be cheaper to just buy one at a sports store.

I bet I could make a nice atlatl out of wood but i have limited access to more exotic materials (like horn, antler or bone). Send me some good material, I'll make you an atlatl with half of it?

I'd love to have a braided sling... so if you're interested in giving one away, let me know what you want, and I can try to make something nice for you.

I bet that anyone who can make a handmade sling can make anything as good or better than I can. It would probably be smarter to buy it from a proffesional.
But if you want to do it just for fun, I'm up for it. Logistics like shipping costs might be a problem, but I'm just putting this out there.

the clay i dug out of my back yard, and fired in my fire pit.

they also have DTB in rune on the top. they fly pretty well but iI only have 3 left, there too fun to throw. 


also i have lots of leather scraps, of diffrent colors, and i might still have some taned snake skin laying around somewhere..
