We've been through this before, as Willeke mentioned. Chris' response at the time was:

I think it is an interesting idea, especially for people to exchange and sell there work with slings.  Not sure about bones, gems, and the other stuff.  However, I think the forum is equipped to handle this for the time being.  People should use this category, the "Administrative and Other Topics" section.  If there are lots of people posting, and the demand merits creation of a brand new section, I'll set it up.

That still seems reasonable. Since the last trading thread petered out (maybe a sign there?), I'll change the title of this thread to "trading thread" and you guys can go nuts. I don't think we need a seperate post for each item - there aren't that many of us yet. If everything runs smoothly the possibility of setting up a seperate area might be looked at down the road.

To sum up - post your trades etc. here. Oh, and please be reasonable about it...

A bartering forum? Excellent! I don't have many slings/weapons or useful tools that I am not too connected with to trade... hmm.

I have lots of Belgian beer bottle caps I'd be willing to give away if someone wants to cover the shipping and handling.

I dig in old dump sites for antique bottles . I occasionaly come across caps . What condition is acceptable for a rare cap ? A little rust ? We found an old wire top made out of ceramic material . It was the first Stroths beer cap in Detroit and I believe there is a date on it saying 1902 . We use it as a good luck charm . I also save all the cobalt blue glass even the shards . Someone mentioned arrowheads out of glass ? Cobalt blue would be cool . I've got some bottoms that could be knapped . Different colours too 8) .

Lol, have you guys had the same 29 straight days of rain that we've had up here? (ok so it let up at the airport for just long enough to fall short of the record...) Absolutely miserable in the mountains, with no snow, and what does manage to stick is unstable. And I was all keen to make new snowshoes this year. Oh well... Undecided

I normally head for the outer coast this time of year, but too much work at home.
