I'm starting up a netband, it is completely open, anyone who is able to compose or record themselves is welcome to contribute. You don't need to be a great musician as long as you can make a good melody.

So far I have me (I am able to drum and play bass) and 2 guitarists, I have gotten a few other musicians interested but I thought I might as well try and tap the talents of this forum.

The style of music varies because of the method of composition, if someone can make a great melody we will play around it and build on it, till we have a "completed" song.

If you are interested but don't have good music software to piece your playing into a song, you can either send it to me or another musician to incorporate it, or I can hook you up with some decent software.

Vocalists and studio types are also fully welcome to help. The idea is a completely open fun project.

I am beginning to put together something with a guitarist friend, I might be able to host it somewhere this week, you can download it and do whatever you want with it.
