Slinging a bola????? (Read 3687 times)

Oct 19^th, 2005 at 4:27pm Has anyone ever thought about slining a thick rope or slightly weighted chain. It should, if what I'm thinking works it should unravel and spin like a bola. ne1 have a way to try this, or done it already, let me know. This is an idea that came to me while trying to fall asleep. Next time I break out of prison I will take some razor wire with me and use that as a bola cord. Ouch!

I cant really see the benefits of slinging a bola unless you are used to the comfy finger loop that a sling has.

we have covered this before. I have slung small chain bola's made with three one ounce pymrid sinkers each chain about two inches they fly great over head. but honestly I prefer a cross of chain no weights or a small piece of chain the tuck it in the pouch and hurl comes out spinning leghth wise. havent hunted with any of these.
