My personal favourite dart construction for the killer BIC was made from toothpicks.
A toothpick and some scotch tape combined together, worked fine   Grin
Simply chewing on a small piece of paper resulted in a sticky bullet. Very nice for redecorating walls, chalk boards and ceilings lol.
Regards.

Six months ago I bought some copper conduit and made some 22 inch darts out of dowels, made paper cones, broadheads out of xacto blades, and tried to kill pidgeons with them. It didnt work because I didnt have enough lung power, but those pidgeons days are numbered, because I did almost the same thing with my pellet gun. Got some q tips and needles, taped them together, put it in the .177 chamber, and it can shoot through a piece of sheet steel close range. I think it can go through a pidgeon.

Well, at my college, we're lazy, so we just sit and play Texas Hold 'Em like normal people.  Or give massages sitting out under a cherry tree, listening to Bob Marley and getting neat tans.  These are the days.

Well, that's the same with my old school.  But sixth form college is the inbetweeny bit between school and university, so it's quite free.  I have a lot of free time on my timetable.

In France they have had this add,
A photo of a few sorry bits of left over ends of bic pens and the line:
Bic, the most eaten pen in the world!

If the company reads this thread they have an other:

A photo of some rebuild bic pens and the line:
Bic, the most dangerous pen in the world!

How far can you shoot?

In my opinion, cones travel faster and farther than Q-tips.If shot indoors,I can get maybe about 35 feet at  50 degrees.

We would attach a rubber band to one end of the pen tube and make a miniature diver's speargun using the pen's ink cartridge as ammo.  Those buggers could really fly, and could be dangerous.

another dangerous little weapon was a certain type of mechanical pencil.

It was a hollow tube with small little plastic plugs that each had a pre-sharpened piece of pencil carbon. Each pencil had about 10 of these stacking plugs that would be fed through the back of the pencil. When the point dulled you would just pull out the dull point and feed it in the back of the pencil pushing out a new sharp point.

anyways, now that i tried to describe the pencil...you would take these little points/plugs and shoot them out of a slightly larger pen casing (the one for the pencil was created to hold them in place so the resistance would hinder the shot). They were sharp, accurate, and there was the possibility of the point breaking off in the wound... pretty dangerous, painful, and nasty...but hey, it was fun.
