Tugnsten powder added to concret?

What if you used tungsten powder instead of sand?  Or added it to clay and fired it?

Would this make an extra heavy projectile, or would it just fall apart?

Can't think of a reason why you'd do it.  The point of clay glandes is that they are kinda throwaway.  Tungsten would make them worth something.  And the result would not be as heavy as lead, or indeed, full tungsten glandes, surely?

That is an idea if you may get tungsten powder. But most probably the glandes would crush hiting a hard ground, hence you wouldn't have a chanse to recover expensive tugnsten.

In the shape, structure and position of each stone, there is recorded a small piece of history. So, slinging them, we add a bit of our history to them.

yes, but if I used cement, or concret, they might stay intact.  The powder must be cheaper than the finished metal.

What are you trying to do with the concrete? Are you trying to make it to where you can retreve it later? I have seen that professional concrete people put rebarb into the concrete. Maybe you could use cheap metal flakes into the batch to make the concrete more returnable?

In my bus. I do a lot of grinding I have a lot of steel "iron" filings." I some times mix them with epoxy
making my own JB weld so to speak.
I might try some with concrete. It would definitely add weight if not hardness. Not to mention color as I am sure they would rust. Well ill add that to my list when i get free project time again
