When I sling all my ammunition just flies over my target, my targret is hanging and is about 4' tall. Am I letting go too early if every rock flies 20 feet over the target? thanx

....if you're underhanding,  you're  releasing too  late.  If you're overhanding, you're releasing too early.    I'm assuming you're using a vertical spin for safety & accuracy.   mgreenfield

Describe your sling style and that will help us advise you in this matter.
