I received a copy of "The Ballistics of The Sling" by Thom Richardson from the Royal Armouries. They were exceptionally helpful I must say. I can provide limited copies to interested people for a small fee to cover duplication and postage costs.

I would like to get hold of:

Burgess, EM 1958 An Ancient Egyptian Sling Reconstructed.
King, F H 1960 A Note on The Square Sinnet,

"A widely cultivated plant, Linum usitatissimum, having pale blue flowers, seeds that yield linseed oil, and slender stems from which a textile fiber is obtained." Chris
