I managed to keep it in the sling pocket long enough to really pitch it just x1 time. BUT that x1 time, it took off with a beautiful "quarterback" spiral, ....just a tiny bit of wobble. I pulled the football shaped head off the end and use it as a light practice glande. The thing spins just like a football and very straight. It's great for practice in the backyard bouncing it off the wall or my son's eagles nest.
