For those of you on Facebook, I’ve started a new group called The Slinging Community.

The goal isn’t to replace Slinging.org—it’s to create another place where slingers can connect, share photos and videos, ask questions, and help grow interest in the sling.

Some things I’d like to build within the group:

• Sling making discussions and tutorials
• Historical and archaeological content
• Target shooting and accuracy challenges
• Photo and video sharing
• Buy, sell, and trade opportunities
• Community contests and giveaways
• Regional meetups and slinging events
• Knowledge exchange between beginners and experienced slingers
• A welcoming place for all slinging styles and traditions

Whether you’ve been slinging for decades or just started yesterday, you’re welcome.
