Hello friends,

long time i was just a reader of this forum. These day i decided to join in the discusion too.

I am from Czech Republic, i throw stones around one year and i made leather+paracord slings. I put them in a lots of tests.. i throw almost everyday. ☄️

Very nice looking sling! I love the chamfered edges on the leather, that's a nice touch.

Here is one sling i made for my girlfriend.. she can throw really well.. i am lookin forward to get some nice patine on the leather .. i will look like some part of samurai armor.

@neandrthal, I really like your slings.
In the tutorial, you coat the paracord with wax before twisting the strands together. Is that pure beeswax, or do you recommend another type of wax? Thanks!

Pure beeswax works.

But if you dig through the forum a little, there's a thread where a few of the guys tested a beeswax/linseed oil blend that ended up better than both on their own.
