Title: the oldest evidence of arrowheads in France Post by TOMBELAINE on Oct 14th, 2024 at 7:33am
I saw a documentary on French TV about the Mandrin cave in France.
I don't know if a website exists in English but here is a website in French. Tiny flint tips are dated 54 000 BC. For archeologists, it can only be pointed arrows fired with a bow. In the photos, the arrows have no tail. Does anyone know why ? https://theconversation.com/nouvelle-decouverte-dans-la-vallee-du-rhone-les-homo-sapiens-deurope-tiraient-deja-a-larc-il-y-a-54-000-ans-200326 |
